Manitowoc United's mission is to provide greater opportunities for studentathletes in Manitowoc County who aspire to elevate their basketball skills and extend their seasons at a higher level. We are dedicated to shaping young boys and girls into respectful, hardworking, and accountable individuals within our community. Our focus is on both individual skill development and the importance of teamwork. Along the way, we will foster lifelong friendships. While our athletes will grow as basketball players, our goal is to help them become better people.

RESPECT

Respect – We will respect all people involved.  This includes our teammates, parents, coaches, opponents, and referees.  We will congratulate opponents on a good game, and we will thank the refs after every game, whether win or lose.  NO EXEPTIONS.

ATTITUDE

Attitude – We will have a positive attitude whether we win or lose.  A positive attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.  We will learn from our mistakes and get better.  Coaches will coach and teammates will encourage each other.

TEAM

Team – The team is more important that each individual.  We will each serve the team the best way we can.  We will commit ourselves to making the team better every day, practice or game situation.

WORK ETHIC

Work Ethic – We will be the hardest working TEAM in the gym.  We will never give up.  We will make lots of mistakes.  If we don’t, we’re not working hard enough.  We will get better with every practice and game.

FUN

Fun – When we follow the above 4 principles, we will have fun, work as a team, and develop great friendships.
